Thankyou for taking the time to visit my blog!
Well today we went to visit my Dad. Not anything out of the ordinary i hear you say but in fact it was. You see we have never been to my Dad's! I say we, i mean Corey and I. I have been obvioudly, i was born there but i have never taken Corey! That is how careful we have been about germs and everything. Dad always comes to visit us. He has a lot of visitors and a dog and we were worried that he might pick something up. It isn't just Dads though, we haven't taken him anyway, that is how strict we have been. You may think i'm a bbit weird for taking it to this extreme but it's worked! Apart from a couple of tiny colds he hasn't had any illnesses at all since coming home a yr ago! Wow, did i say a yr ago. Why yes it was April 20th, now there's a day to celebrate! So anyway, apart from being at Dads it would have been a major prob to get him there. He lives towo bus rides away and as Dave works in the day and i don't drive then i would have had to have took him on a bus full of germ ridden(sorry) people to get there, something i wasn't prepared to risk. So anyway now Corey is a bit older and the winter is about through we have become more laid back. Hubby is still being reluctant but i have bitten the bullet and taken him on the bus and to the Supermarket etc.... Hopefully we won't get cabin fever anymore and will get out more and more!
so happy that you were able to get to your dad's! :D and being one of the former germ-phobes, i totally understand not wanting to take him on the bus until now...
....i didn't know you don't drive? ;) tho, seeing as how you can walk everywhere (it's well over a mile hike to the grocery and we american's are extremely lazy! ;) ), i can see why you wouldn't bother....
