Thankyou for taking the time to visit my blog!
Well it's been a strange sort of week with not a huge amount happening. Haven't really been anyway and so i've been feeling even more depressed than usual. I've been really worried about how low i am and so has DH. So yesterday i went and bought some St John's Wort. It's supposed to be the homeopathic thing to take for depression and i am now taking it 3 times a day so i hope it will make a difference! Corey is so clingy at the moment and i think that is getting me down too along with the dreaded feeding. He hasn't been doing too bad by his standards but if we try to feed him without the TV on like the Speech Therapist wants them he will hardly eat anything :( He hasn't done to bad today but we gave in and turned the TV on. He loves yoghurts at the moment. I've been giving him one for breakfast as he doesn't like many breakfasty things and he loves it. I bought some that were made with whole milk so full of calories! Also at lunch he has mashed potatoes with cheese and cream in them but we have tried them before and he isn't really impressed and he wasn't that bothered today either. Anyway we plod on. Had some good news on Friday. Got the latest issue of Scrapbook Inspirations and they had published 2 of my layouts. Plus there was a competition recently on the scrapbooking forum i'm a member of - UKScrappers and i came runner up and have won a prize! Don't know what it will be as it's a suprise so just have to wait for it to be delivered. We had to design a layout around the number 30 to celebrate one of the shops who had been in business for 30 yrs. So as they opened in 1975 i did 30 facts about 1975. Will post a pic later but the upload image thingy isnt working. Today DH and Corey went walking and i did some scrapping then sat in the garden for a few hrs as it was nice and sunny. I also burnt myself a little on my chest and my arms have gone a nice golden colour. We don't expect the sun to be strong enough to burn in the UK as we hardly ever get any lol!
So yesterday was Live8. Anyone who is anyone will know what i am talking about. If you don't then here is a little bit about it.
Every single day, 30,000 children die, needlessly, of extreme poverty.
On July 6th, we finally have the opportunity to stop that shameful statistic.
8 world leaders, gathered in Scotland for the G8 summit, will be presented with a workable plan to double aid, drop the debt and make the trade laws fair. If these 8 men agree, then we will become the generation that made poverty history.
But they'll only do it if enough people tell them to.
That's why we're staging LIVE 8. 10 concerts, 100 artists, a million spectators, 2 billion viewers, and 1 message... To get those 8 men, in that 1 room, to stop 30,000 children dying every single day of extreme poverty.
We don't want your money - we want you!
